How much do you charge FOR A PHOTOSHOOT?

Our wedding packages start from R12,500. A portrait session starts from R1,800. Please visit our packages page for more information. You are welcome to request  a custom package that suits your needs.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEO SERVICES?

We only specialise in photography services and do not provide videography services. However, if you are looking for a videographer we would be happy to recommend some great videographers that we trust.

When will my wedding photos be ready?

We understand you will want to see your photos as soon as possible after your wedding! So with this in mind, we provide sneak peek images within 48 hours of your wedding… then provide all photos on our branded USB and also a link to download your photos in 4 weeks post your wedding date.

 

What are your payment terms?

For weddings, we ask for a 50% payment. This payment secures your wedding date with us. The final payment is due 14 days before your wedding/event. Payments can be made via bank transfer. We are happy to make a payment arrangement for the remaining balance if you would like to make multiple small payments instead.

 

Do you photograph engagement sessions?

Yes, we offer engagement photo sessions, which include edited images – please ask for package details.

 

Can you give us the RAW files?

We do not supply unedited and/or RAW files as we consider these our unfinished product, and part of what you are paying for when you book us for your photography is our editing ability. We promise that you will have many edited images and won’t be missing out on any photos if that is what you might be thinking.  We don’t limit the number of photos that we edit and include for you, so they will all be included on delivery.

 

Can we share our photos on Facebook, Instagram, and/or other public PLATFORMS?

Absolutely! Matter of fact, we encourage that! we just ask that you please tag us (@kavelastudio), hashtag (#kavelastudio), or whatever you need to do to give us a little shout out!

 

HOW DO WE BOOK FOR A WEDDING/EVENT?

Before or after you have chosen a package, we discuss your expectation or specific requirements for your photoshoot and send you a cost estimate. On approval of the estimate, we send you a contract and an invoice. On approval of the contract, you make a 50% payment using our banking details provided on the invoice to secure your booking. The total balance must be paid 14 days/two weeks before your event.

 

ARE ALL OF OUR PHOTOS EDITED?

Yes. All of them.

 

Can we edit the photographs once we receive the gallery?

The final edit reflects our brand, style and authenticity. Any further editing to photographs after delivery is not allowed.

 

If I need to cancel my wedding, is the deposit refundable?

Yes, the deposit is refundable. However, we will charge you a 30% cancellation fee. The 30% is deducted from the payment made upon booking.

 

WHAT IF I NEED TO POSTPONE/CHANGE THE DATE?

When a booking is confirmed, and the client wants to postponed after receiving the contract, the client will be charged R700 for postponement. In addition, the client may be charged for any expenses incurred by the company/photographer as a result of postponement.

 

What if you’re ill or have to cancel for any reason?

We are committed to service delivery. If this were to happen, we would do all we can to organise a backup that is reliable, trustworthy and best suitable to cover the day.

 

Do you offer custom packages?

Yes we do. We are very open to tailoring a package so that it works best for you.

How much do you charge?

We charge R550 hourly rate for all graphic design services.

WHAT DO YOU DESIGN?

We design all things related to graphic design, these are but not limited to brand identities/logos, brand manuals, business profiles, websites, stationery (brochures, posters, business cards, letterheads, email signatures, presentation folders), vehicle branding, signages, annual reports, work wear.

 

Can you give us the RAW design files?

Yes, and any other format required.

 

HOW DO WE GET STARTED / WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

1. We discuss your design needs or you send us a design brief.

2. We send you a cost estimate.

3. On acceptance, we ask for a 50% deposit.

4. We brainstorm ideas and get started with your design.

5. We send you the first review within the time frame provided.

6. We send you the approved and finalised designs upon receiving the outstanding balance.

 

What are your payment terms?

We ask for a 50% deposit on acceptance of the cost estimate to commence. The balance is payable before the delivery of all items and will only be regarded as paid when it reflects on our account. A full amount is required for items under R2,000.
